Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using HandNote Pro, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old. Users under 18 confirm they have parental permission to use the app.

3. Acceptable use

• Do not upload content you don't own or have a right to use.
• Do not use the app for cheating in exams or violating your institution's rules. Generated notes are a study aid, not a substitute for original work where originality is required.
• No hateful, illegal, sexual, violent or copyrighted material.
• Do not attempt to break, scrape or overload the service.

4. Your content

You own the content you upload and the notes generated for you. You grant us a limited licence to store and process this content solely to provide the service.

5. AI output

AI-generated notes may contain errors. Always verify critical facts before relying on them for exams or submissions. We provide the output "as is" with no warranty of accuracy.

6. Subscriptions & payments

Paid plans renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel anytime from your account; access continues until the end of the paid period. Prices and taxes are shown at checkout.

7. Termination

We may suspend or close accounts that violate these Terms. You can delete your account anytime.

8. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the past 3 months. We are not liable for exam outcomes, lost data, or indirect damages.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of India.
